Additive Industries' Aerospace Customer Commits to Six AM Systems

Additive Industries North America, Inc., Camarillo, CA, has announced the purchase of six MetalFAB1 3D printing systems by its largest aerospace company. With this purchase, the California-based customer will have 10 of the powder bed fusion systems, and may add more in 2020.
When the order for six machines arrives at the customer site later this year, it will bring the installed base of MetalFAB1 systems to 10, with more possible in 2020. The MetalFAB1 systems allow this customer to produce complex 420-mm dia. by 400-mm tall parts weighing 180 kg.
