New Fiber-Laser Cutting Machines Deliver Efficiency, Simplicity

Bystronic, Hoffman Estates, IL, has introduced two new fiber-laser cutting machines, the ByCut Eco 3015 (118 by 59-in. sheet size) and 4020, with laser power from 2 to 6 kW. The ByCut Eco models, automation-ready and designed to provide users with the capabilities of fiber-laser technology without high investment hurdles or long detours, promise to deliver efficiency as well as simplicity. The machines can process a variety of materials including carbon and stainless steels, and nonferrous alloys including aluminum, copper and brass.
The optionally available “Parameter Wizard” ensures the right quality of cut parts always is selected. Without significant user expertise, the perfect parameters are optimized, company officials say, in just a few minutes.
The ByCut Eco machines employ Bystronic’s BySoft Cell Control Cut software—for operating and for creating sheet nests at the machine. Operators tend to the machines via a 21.5-in. touchscreen control.
