Amphenol Corp., Wallingford, CT, has acquired Connor Manufacturing, Itasca, IL. Amphenol, a producer of electronic and fiberoptic connectors, cable and interconnect systems, is a publicly owned company with more than 90,000 employees.
Says Connor president/CEO Dennis Kwiecinski: “We share a common goal of growing our business in the electric vehicle industry. Connor will become part of Amphenol's Automotive Products Group. After 110 yr. operating independently, we believe that Amphenol will be a great owner and partner for the next 100 years. There is no change in our management, structure and operations. With its size, experience and global reach, Connor will have the technical and financial backing to better compete in the global marketplace.”
