GE Additive Certifying AM-Production Centers
November 3, 2017Comments
GE Additive announced that it is selecting companies to become certified AM production centers for its customers. GE already has signed a memorandum of understanding with Oerlikon to become a preferred, non-exclusive component manufacturer, and is working to certify several companies by year-end.
Each certified production partner will operate additive machines from GE providers Concept Laser and Arcam, using additive material from AP&C and best practices developed at service provider DTI. They will receive guidance from GE’s additive design and manufacturing staff.
