Tella Tool & Mfg. Co., Brownsville, TX, appointed Rodolfo Chapa general manager. The firm offers stamping, fabricating and machining services from its Brownsville facility and from a second plant in Lombard, IL.

McGregor Metalworking Companies, Springfield, OH, has hired Cynthia Porter as corporate director of quality, responsible for the quality programs at each of the firm’s five manufacturing facilities. Porter has been a lead auditor and trainer in TS 16949 and ISO 14001, and is lean-certified. McGregor Metalworking is a contract manufacturer offering metal stamping, machining, robotic welding and other services.

Thermadyne Industries, Inc., St. Louis, MO, a manufacturer of metal cutting and welding equipment, named George Dunning vice president of engineering. He’ll manage the firm’s global engineering teams from its office in Denton, TX. The company also added three new people to its marketing and sales team. Tony Coco becomes director of channel marketing and national accounts, responsible for marketing all of the firm’s products throughout the Americas. Bill Wehrman will support Coco and be responsible for defining and directing the firm’s marketing and communication strategy for the Americas, including web presence and social media. Vickie Marshall will work for Wehrman and be responsible for visual design, layout and usability of web-based products, including the firm’s social-networking activities.

The Dieffenbacher Group, a German manufacturer of presses and press lines, automation equipment and tooling, named Roger Kautz director of marketing and communications. The company organizes its marketing department as an independent company, and plans to offer its services—market planning, media and public-relations expertise and customer-relationship management—to other companies in the capital-good industry.

Kimberly-Clark Professional, Roswell, GA, named Gil Madrid vice president for global safety, and David St-Hilaire senior director, North American safety. The executives will lead the firm’s global expansion and product innovation priorities, and finalize integration of the Jackson Safety brand as part of its expanded portfolio of welding-safety, head-to-toe PPE and work-zone safety products.

MultiCam, Dallas, TX, named Scott Mullis North American sales manager. The firm manufactures CNC router, laser, plasma, waterjet, and knife cutting machines.
