Corrosion Protection

Cortec Corp.’s FlashCorr VpCI, a blend of surfactants, chelating agents and corrosion inhibitors, protects metal surfaces from corrosion. It can be applied to sand-blasted, water-blasted and wire-brushed surfaces to stabilize and protect against flash corrosion before application of primers, paints and protective coatings. The product reduces application costs and improves adhesion, thus allowing effective and long-term performance of protective-coatings systems. Applications include salt spreaders, snow plows, blowers, boats, commercial vehicles, etc. It also is highly recommended for protection of machinery and engine blocks as well as marine equipment.
