Paul NathansonPaul Nathanson is a partner in the Policy Resolution Group (PRG) at Bracewell with more than 25 years of experience in strategic communications. He leads PRG's strategic communications practice and focuses on reputation management, message development, crisis communications, public policy analysis, media relations and strategic counseling services for a range of U.S. and international clients. Paul is part of the One Voice for Manufacturing advocacy team in Washington, D.C., where he provides public affairs and media relations support for the Precision Metalforming Association (PMA) and the National Tooling and Machining Association (NTMA). In 2002, he worked with his clients, PMA and the Consuming Industries Trade Action Coalition (CITAC), to oppose the Section 201 steel tariffs. PMA's and CITAC's successful efforts to highlight the damage caused by the tariffs to U.S. steel-using manufacturers, along with the threat of retaliatory tariffs, led to the Bush Administration ending the three-year tariffs after only 18 months.

Paul is joined by Omar Nashashibi, founding partner with The Franklin Partnership, PMA's lobbying firm based in Washington, D.C.
