Amada Acquires Marvel and Announces New Company

Japan-based Amada Group, a comprehensive metalworking machine manufacturer, has acquired Wisconsin-based Marvel Manufacturing, Inc., a metal-cutting machine manufacturer, to form Amada Marvel, Inc. Marvel’s main products are vertical tilt-frame band saws used to cut lightweight structural steels used in the production of vehicles and agricultural machines.
