The hydrocarbon parts-cleaning process from Durr Ecoclean, Wixom, MI, combines economy with environmental responsibility, cost-effectively removing oils, greases, chips and swarf from a variety of materials. The machine, a batch-type system, cleans six to 10 loads/hr. using nonchlorinated cleaning fluids. Base machines include a work chamber, flood tank, filtration unit, distillation system and manual load/unload basket conveyors. Optional components include a second flood tank, cyclone or cartridge filtration, ultrasonics, continuous oil discharge and automatic load/unload conveyor. Stainless-steel plumbing, tanks and components optimize system life and reliability. The distillation unit continuously regenerates and reclaims the cleaning fluid for further use.
