Waelzholz Continues Expansion With Opening in Mexico City

Waelzholz, a Hagen, Germany-based manufacturer of cold-rolled steel, has opened a sales subsidiary in Mexico City to strengthen its presence in Latin America. The company already supplies many local companies and key international customers in Mexico with standard materials and customized steel strip solutions.

With 2400 employees at locations in Europe, North and South America, and Asia, Waelzholz produces more than 780,000 tons of cold-rolled steel strip and profiles annually. The company’s entire product range—from standard cold-rolled steel strip grades to coated, hardened and tempered, and stainless steel materials, as well as electrical steel strip—is available in Mexico.
