A second Metal Supermarkets store has opened in Massachusetts, with the new Worcester location joining another that opened in Boston in 2014. Both are run by local entrepreneur Stefan Hristov.
“Focusing on providing fast and reliable service to Boston businesses has helped fuel our success in North Boston,” Hristov says. “I’m eager to bring that same experience to Worcester to help metal purchasers throughout the area find the metal they need, quickly and easily.”
Overall, Metal Supermarkets offers 8000 types, shapes and grades of metal alloys, cut to each customer’s exact specifications, and with no minimum order quantity, according to Stephen Schober, company president and CEO. It boasts more than 130 physical stores throughout the United States, Canada and United Kingdom. Materials offered include aluminum; hot-rolled, cold-rolled, stainless, alloy, galvanized and tool steel; brass; bronze; and copper.
