The Advanced Manufacturing Center (AMC) at the Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology, Inc. (CCAT), East Hartford, CT, has been named a Center for Excellence for additive-manufacturing services by Optomec Inc., Albuquerque, NM. The AMC will provide research and development services in the use of Optomec’s 3D printing technology used for the manufacture, repair, rework and coating of metal components.
