Sandvik’s ZeroTouch Opens New Oregon HQ and Center for Metrology Automation

ZeroTouch, part of the Sandvik Group, announced the grand opening of its new headquarters in Tualatin, OR, designed to accelerate innovation in industrial metrology automation. The company specializes in shop-floor quality control by combining noncontact laser scanning, comprehensive inspection analysis and defect detection to automate inspection of precision components.
The new facility features manufacturing operations, an R&D lab, customer-experience center with live demonstrations, and training spaces for operating and maintaining metrology automation. Sustainability is a core focus, with energy-efficient operations built into the facility design.
