Progressive-die metal stamper and fourslide operator Tedco, Inc., Cranston, RI, has been recertified from a CCR/ORCA to a Women Owned Small Business. The recertification, says company president and CF Dona Vincent, entitles it to compete for contracts available through government programs. Tedco is registered to ISO 9001:2008 and is TS 16949 compliant.

Airtronics Metal Products (AMP), San Jose, CA, has earned new American Welding Society (AWS) and military-standard (Mil-Spec) welding certifications, and expects the certifications to trigger customer activity in the aerospace industry. As an example, AMP recently was audited by Lockheed Martin and approved as a third-tier supplier to manufacture and weld Lockheed parts. Interplex Etch Logic, Attleboro, MA, a division of Interplex Industries, has earned ISO/TS 16949 certification, recognizing its ability to provide automotive customers with chemically etched products that meet rigorous quality and reliability standards. Interplex Etch Logic manufactures etched filters and other components for automotive applications, as well as for customers in the medical, electronic, aerospace and consumer markets.
