Turck, Plymouth, MN, is applying traditional analog sensing in two nontraditional housing styles—ring- and probe-style sensors. The ring-style sensor is ideal for identifying and sorting of small parts, as the sensor generates a different output signal for each part size. And, the probe-style sensor can be used in a variety of areas, such as the positioning of parts as they move over the length of the probe.
