Sigma Additive’s PrintRite3D Software to be Certified for SLM Solutions Metal-AM Machines

Sigma Additive Solutions Inc. announced that its PrintRite3D in-process quality-assurance software will be certified to work with SLM Solution’s industrial metal-additive manufacturing (AM) machines. The certification allows the companies to utilize SLM’s open architecture and SLM.Quality APIs to enable integration of PrintRite3D, Sigma’s third-party agnostic quality-assurance software and analytics solution.
“Our team has been impressed with the way that the SLM.Quality solution has contributed to efficient process qualification and part certifications,” says Stephan Kuehr, general manager of European operations at Sigma Additive. “This is a major step towards establishing a standard for data interchange and advancing the AM industry toward standards-based quality metrics and analytics.”
