Sigma Labs, Inc. has won the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Best-in-Class Innovation Award for Additive Manufacturing Measurement and Analysis. In its entry for the award, one of six presented as part of ASME’s recently held AM Tech Forum, Sigma Labs showcased the latest release of PrintRite3D additive manufacturing (AM) monitoring software, which includes features that reportedly ease the finding of anomalies in process data, provide production-fleet optionality with machine-to-machine qualifications, and offer multi-laser system support.
“Our entire company is thrilled to have won the best-in-class innovation award for measurement and analysis,” says Mark Ruport, president and CEO of Sigma Labs. “It is gratifying to be recognized for the work we are doing—along with our partners and standards organizations—to improve quality and accelerate the growth and prosperity of the AM industry. Most importantly, this achievement was a total team effort.”
