Beckwood Press Co. Expands Engineering Department

Beckwood Press Co., St. Louis, MO, a maker of custom hydraulic presses, automation systems and the Triform line of precision forming equipment, expanded its engineering department from 15 persons to 21, for a 40-percent increase in engineering staff. Since June 2017, Beckwood added a structural/ hydraulics engineer, four electrical/controls engineers and one drafter.

“Over the last five years, we have seen an increase in requests for sophisticated machinery with improved safety and efficiency,” says Adam Strein, Beckwood’s engineering manager. “These new engineers have really helped to expand our capabilities in these areas.”
