Ferris State Applications Lab Welcomes Slant-Bed Turning Center

Students studying manufacturing technology at Ferris State University’s campus in Big Rapids, MI, have a new machine on which to practice and learn: a Hurco TM8 CNC slant-bed machining center. The addition comes thanks to collaboration among numerous companies —Hurco, Indianapolis, IN; ITW Drawform, Zeeland, MI; Trans-Matic, Holland, MI; Sandvik Coromant USA, Fairlawn, NJ; and Norchuk Tool Supply, Muskegon, MI.
