Turck Introduces Automated Weld-Water Detection System

At Automate, Turck launched a new cooling-water detection
system for automated, robotic resistance-welding setups, which helps prevent the
welding equipment from overheating, promising to reduce downtime and
maintenance requirements. Communication via IO-Link offers optimum monitoring
and control due to its ability to track and monitor operations remotely.
The system features components designed for the harsh environments found in welding applications. An auto water shut-off with retract unit prevents excessive water spillage during welding-tip change. In addition, manual flow adjustment ensures easy setup and commissioning.
