The partnership’s appren- ticeship programs will be offered in conjunction with Cuyahoga Community Col- lege (Tri-C), Cleveland, OH, and Lorain County Communi- ty College, Elyria, OH, and will take place in Medina County at Tri-C’s Brunswick, OH, campus. The initial focus will be on training for advanced manufacturing, with each company attaining certifica- tion for its specific appren- ticeship program.

Tower Metalworking Fluids is the new name for the Chicago, IL-based company formerly known as Tower Oil & Technology. In addition, the company has named Scott Prince chief operat- ing officer. Also, Phil Albertson joins as a field sales engineer for the Georgia territory.
Tower Metalworking Fluids is an ISO-certified manufacturer of specialty metalforming lubri- cants, metal cutting and grinding fluids, and corrosion inhibitors. The name change identifies Tower’s core competencies and reflects more than 80 years of the company’s global presence as a specialty lubricant manufacturer to a variety of industries.
