The Cusseta, AL plant of Great Lakes Metal Stamping minimized its overall project cost and optimized flexibility when it opted for this transfer line rather than a huge transfer press, to produce three brake-booster stampings.  With the two transfers and a shuttle, they can run the line as a nine-press transfer (shown here) or any combination less than nine. It can run as two separate transfers (five-press and four-press) or as a five-press transfer with four hand-fed presses.
