powered Edge X-5 machine; introduce its new Permalign V-Series Mini Hopper; and pre- miere its 75,000-psi X- Stream pressure- intensifier pumps and closed-loop water-filtration System. The Edge X-5 cuts precise taper-free parts from virtually any material. The ball-screw- driven system features direct- couple AC brushless digital servo motors, providing opti- mum repeatabil- ity. The variable- aperture Permalign V-Series Mini Hopper (shown) increases productivity and profitability by allowing waterjet operators to easily make adjustments to abrasive flow, minimizing abrasive consumption. And the new X-Stream xP90-100 intensifier pump supports 75-ksi continuous operating pressure, to optimize productivity while mini-
mizing operating costs.
