Certifications
Custom hydraulic- and mechanical-press builder Erie Press Systems, Erie, PA, has been registered to ISO 9001:2008, upgrading from its previous registration to ISO 9001:2000. Its presses are used for forging, blank- ing, coining, stretch forming and other applications.
Kramski North America, Inc., Largo, FL, has earned registrations to ISO 13485: 2003 for design and manu- facture of medical devices and to ISO 14001:2004 for its environmental-manage- ment system. It’s also regis- tered to ISO/TS 16949 and DIN EN ISO 9001. The firm manufactures stampings, injection-molded parts and insert-molded components.
Laser and laser-cutting system manufacturer Prima North America, Chicopee, MA, has received ISO 9001:2008 registration. The registration applies to the firm’s facilities in Chicopee and in Champlin, MN, and to its three North American businesses— Laserdyne Systems (laser- machining systems), Con- vergent Lasers (CO2 and Nd:Yag lasers) and Prima Systems (3D laser-cutting and welding systems).

Link Electric & Safety Control, Inc., Nashville, TN, appointed James G. Barrett, III to president. He replaces
James G. Barrett, Jr., who becomes the company’s CEO.
Formtek Metal Forming, Inc., Cleveland, OH, pro- moted Jack Pennuto Jr. to director of sales and mar- keting. Pennuto, who previ- ously served the firm as a sales engineer and sales manager in the rollforming industry, will be responsible for establishing selling strategies for the firm’s various product groups, managing its aftermarket parts and services group and interfacing with its network of regional sales managers and independent representatives.
Dorner Mg. Corp., Hart- land, WI, promoted John Kuhnz to marketing direc- tor, having previously served the company as food mar- keting manager. In addition to overseeing marketing and sales functions, Kuhnz assumes responsibility for new-product research and development initiatives. Dorner manufactures conveyors and related equipment.
HVAC fabricator M&M Manufacturing Co., Fort Worth, TX, named Larry Cook vice president of com- mercial business develop- ment. The firm manufac- tures several types of duct pipe and fittings, and offers general sheetmetal products for roofing, ventilating and architectural applications.
Bystronic Inc., Haup- pauge, NY, hired Robert Sales as sales engineer for Ontario, Canada. The com- pany manufactures laser- and waterjet-cutting machines, press brakes and system software.
