Multi-Axis Laser-Machining System Headed to China

Chaoyu Technology Co., Beijing, China, has ordered a Laserdyne 430 laser-machining center from Prima Power Laserdyne, Champlin, MN. The machine, which includes the firm’s new six-axis 430BD fiber-laser system, will weld, drill and cut 2D and 3D stainless-steel micro-electrical components. It boasts a work envelope of 585 by 408 by 508 mm, and bidirectional accuracy of 0.00005 in.
