Nidec Press & Automation Expands Remanufacturing Capabilities

Nidec Press & Automation (NPA) has opened a new 25,000-sq.-ft. addition at its world headquarters in Minster, OH, dedicated to press remanufacturing and after-market component and spare-part production. The newly expanded facility, which allows room under the crane for work on large-tonnage presses, features six remanufacturing bays, a large paint room, a 75-ton crane, an Okuma bridge mill, a large Zeiss coordinate measuring machine, and additional state-of-the-art machine tools earmarked solely for after-market part production.

The facility expansion comes on the heels of NPA opening a new and expanded customer service center in Querétaro, Mexico, along with dedicated customer service additions in Navarrete, Spain, and Pinghu, China. NPA remanufactures all makes of presses, specializing in technology upgrades, new controls and safety requirements.
