Deburring Machines Address Finishing Challenges
February 18, 2015Comments
Fein Power Tools, Inc., Pittsburgh, PA, introduces the Slugger GXE deburring machine, ready to put the finishing touches on tubes, profiles and flat stock. It also can be equipped with polishing wheels. For safety, the GXE features an eye shield, integrated circuit breaker for motor protection and emergency safety-stop switch. For convenience and timesaving, operators will appreciate tool-free adjustment of the gap between the wire wheel and workpiece table, as well as a height-adjustable workpiece support. Its 3-hp motor operates at 1800 RPM; maximum wheel size is 10-in. dia. by 2-3/8 in. thick.
Bench-mount the machine, or select among two steel bases available for floor-mounting: the standard GIXS machine base or the GIXBE base that includes a dust-extraction feature for efficient air cleaning—use either a spark-resistant collection box for metal chips, or connect it to an external collection system.
