Headquartered in León, Spain, Tecoi, a manufacturer of custom metal cutting and processing equipment, has opened a U.S. headquarters facility in Longview, TX. Tecoi USA provides large-format laser cutting machines, oxyfuel and plasma plate cutting equipment that also incorporates machining functions such as beveling, milling, and drilling; and equipment for automated plate storage; waste disposal; fume extraction and noise reduction. The firm also manufactures cutting tables and manual and automatic tube lathes. Its equipment features advanced artificial intelligence, providing an Industry 4.0 solution with full ERP connectivity designed to help users assign jobs to the right machine on-the-fly, and to provide collaboration between several machines working on the same workpiece material at the same time.
