Lubricant Companies Combine: Fuchs Acquires Irmco

The Fuchs Group, Manheim, Germany, and with U.S. headquarters in Harvey, IL, has acquired Irmco   Advanced Metalforming Lubricant Technologies, Evanston, IL.  With the acquisition, Fuchs aims to further expand its industrial-product portfolio, offering sustainable lubrication solutions across multiple markets.

“Integrating with Fuchs will further our reach of products to the metal forming, assembly, cleaning, and finishing markets through its global network,” says Irmco CEO Jeff Jeffery.

Adds Keith Brewer, CEO of Fuchs Americas: “This acquisition will further reinforce our position as a leading provider of lubricants to the industrial segment.”
