Baldor Stamping Plant Named Top Workplace
August 1, 2014CommentsThe St. Louis Post-Dispatch recently named the Baldor metal-stamping plant in St. Louis, MO, a 2014 Top Workplace. The plant, which supplies stamped parts for five Baldor U.S. motor-manufacturing facilities, produces more than 700 million steel laminations and 5 million motor parts per year, and employs 250 workers. The Top Workplace program is based on surveys of company employees. Baldor employees relayed to company managers, via the survey, their appreciation for the firm’s no-layoff strategy, profit-sharing plan and tuition-reimbursement program.
