Great Designs in Steel Call for Papers

Great Designs in Steel, produced annually by the American Iron and Steel Institute, returns to the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, MI, on Wednesday, May 21, 2025. Conference organizers are accepting abstract submissions; due date is Friday, January 26. Abstracts should be 200 to 300 words and present new advancements, including significant facts and results achieved. Commercial presentations will not be considered.

Potential topics include (but are not limited to):

• Steel enabled design
• Lightweighting
• AHSS/UHSS
• Joining technologies
• Steel engineering
• Modeling and simulation
• Innovative use of steel and enabling technologies for new vehicles 
• Sustainability
