Alcala and Eisenhart Take on Expanded Roles at GNS North America

Michael J. Alcala has been promoted to vice chairman board of directors of GNS North America, Grand Rapids, MI, while retaining the responsibilities of chief executive officer. His new title: vice chairman board of directors and chief executive officer.

Under Alcala’s leadership, GNS NA has made consistent and sustainable improvements, and he is committed to overseeing the firm’s next stages of maturation, growth and development. He led its restructuring in 2020, which included implementing a business-performance measurement process for operations, organizational development and enhanced financial reporting.

In addition, Christopher D. Eisenhart has been promoted to president of GNS North America and retains his responsibilities as chief operating officer. His new title: president and chief operating officer. Since joining the company in November 2021, Eisenhart has played a key role in improving operations, continuing to develop and enhance business processes and in developing the organization.

GNS North America has been recognized as a General Motors Supplier of the Year for the past 2 yr., and has expanded with new production contracts with its other OEM customers. It also has continued to earn recognition as one of the Best and Brightest Companies to work for in Western Michigan and now has earned this recognition in Metro Detroit for its Canton, MI, location.
