Goshen Stamping, celebrating its 100th birthday, recently broke ground on a significant renovation project, as part of its efforts to recover from a devastating fire that occurred in November 2022. The firm, founded in 1923, supplies metal stampings to the ladder, recreational-vehicle and rubber industries. Per a report in The Goshen News , the fire damaged offices and parts of the manufacturing area.

“One week after the fire, we were back to full production,” says Goshen Stamping vice president Jeff Breiler. “We had temporary power, water and gas. And that’s kind of what we’re operating under now. The shop has been largely unaffected.”

Speaking to the renovation project now underway, Breiler adds: “There won’t be a lot of upgrades in (the other office space), we’ll just maximize the floorspace in reconstruction. When it comes to the shop, we hope to come out of it in a better place from a manufacturing-operations standpoint.”
