Metal Forming & Coining Changes Name to Netform

Metal Forming & Coining, Maumee, OH, a manufacturer of cold-formed and machined powertrain components, has changed its name to Netform, as part of its growth strategy and to elevate its perception in the marketplace. According to company president Tim Cripsey. The firm’s cold-forming technology and its approach to product design allows for the creation of unique solutions for electric-vehicle, hybrid, fuel-cell and internal combustion-engine applications.
The firm, a portfolio company of Torque Capital Group, also operates a 56,000-sq.-ft. plant in Shelby Township, MI, which produces shells and drums for various automotive and nonautomotive applications.
