Mid Atlantic Machinery Generously Donates to Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology

Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology, Lancaster, PA, has received a gift of more than $104,000 to its foundation from machine-tool and fabrication-equipment distributor Mid Atlantic Machinery, Harrisburg, PA. The funds will provide scholarships to students in the school's Metals Fabrication and Welding Technology associate degree program.
“This remarkable contribution will make a significant impact on the lives of our students,” says Pedro A. Rivera II, president of Thaddeus Stevens College. “It is inspiring to see how our community comes together to invest in our future workforce. We are incredibly grateful to Mid Atlantic Machinery for its unwavering support.”
Mid Atlantic Machinery frequently hires graduates of the school's metals fabrication and welding program, as well as its electro-mechanical technology track and business administration major. The company also has frequently donated to the college through its annual golf event. The money goes directly toward the Mid Atlantic Machinery Scholarship, which to date has raised more than $227,000. Mid Atlantic Machinery CFO Jeff Tankesley sits on the Board of Trustees for the Thaddeus Stevens Foundation
