New Features in StartProto ERP

StartProto has announced new features in its cloud-based ERP software for manufacturers that cover notifications and tagging, use of multiple currencies, and community forums.

Users can boost workflow with instant notifications and smart tagging features that seamlessly manage and resolve notifications, and tag a host of items. Resolve notifications to ensure never missing important updates or action items. Tag jobs, quotes, orders and more, allowing for simple referencing of relevant work items to keep everything in context. Users also can tag teammates in comments to enhance collaboration.

The new multi-currency feature allows storage of the price of a product and conversion back to the base currency. For example, if users must produce a purchase order in Canadian dollars, but do business in U.S. dollars, this feature will save the current conversion rate—once the purchase order is produced—from Canadian to U.S. dollars. This provides information on what the material or service will cost in a user’s preferred currency.
