MSC Acquires Barnes, Gains Access to Canadian Market

CommentsMSC Industrial Supply Co., Melville, NY, a distributor of metalworking and MRO (maintenance, repair and operations) supplies, acquired Barnes Distribution North America, Cleveland, OH. Barnes distributes fasteners and other consumables via three distribution centers in Canada (Ontario, Alberta and New Brunswick), and seven U.S. facilities.
