Portable CMM in the House
February 1, 2015Comments
Service Stampings, Inc., Willoughby, OH, has added a FaroArm portable coordinate-measuring machine to its quality department. The short-run metal stamper and fabricator will be able to leverage its new measurement system to minimize the amount of time parts spend in quality control, say company officials, increasing overall plant throughput. It also will employ the FaroArm to reverse-engineer parts from customer-supplied samples.
