DOE Laboratory to Use Senvol's AM Data-Collection Procedures
September 20, 2017CommentsAdditive-manufacturing (AM) database operator Senvol, LLC, New York, NY, and the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) have signed a two-year research agreement focused on pedigreed AM data generation. Senvol and ORNL will use Senvol’s Standard Operating Procedure document, which covers the collection of appropriate geometric information, key processing parameters and material-testing protocols. The partners will evaluate this information in order to define best practices and ensure that all required data is captured and accurately extracted during AM data-generation projects.
