New Bruderer Press Line for U.K. Telecommunications Supplier

As part of a United Kingdom (U.K.) manufacturing boom that reportedly has boosted Bruderer’s U.K. press installations by 50 percent compared to a year ago, the company has received an order for a mechanical press fitted with a precision servo feeder.
The high-speed press line, slated for Eden Ltd., a Middlesex provider of telecommunications components, includes a Bruderer BSTA 180-36B press, and continues a 35-yr. relationship of Bruderer-supplied press equipment at Eden, reports TheManufacturer.com.
The press offers tonnage capacity of 180 kN with speeds from 100 to 1400 strokes/min., and 359-mm-long bed. For Eden, it is teamed with a Bruderer BSV75 servo feeder, designed for precise feeding at speeds required by the high-speed press, and also offering automatic material-thickness adjustment.
