Robotic Bending Cell Features Adaptive Bending At FABTECH, LVD Strippit demonstrated its compact Dyna-Cell robotic bending cell, with a footprint of 16 by 16 ft. and now available with the Easy-Form Laser in-process adaptive-bending system, which ensures the desired angle from the first bending operation, according to company officials. Mechanical and Electrical Interface for Cobot EoAT OnRobot A/S debuted at FABTECH a unified mechanical and electrical interface for any OnRobot end-of-arm tooling (EoAT), designed to simplify automation. Watch video Small-Footprint Electric Press Brake MC Machinery Systems introduced its new ball-screw press brake, the BB306, at FABTECH. The fully electric machine features a smaller footprint to fit any facility and form smaller parts. Other standard features: integrated all-axis pulse handle; thickness detection; five-axis backgauge; front and back LED lighting; and large, user-friendly control. The newly designed prefilter package includes a filter mat and panel filter for longer filter life and long-term cost savings. Automatically Saw Two Tubes to Different Lengths The Twincut, an automatic CNC tube-sawing machine from BLM Group USA, can cut parts simultaneously in two different lengths. The machine’s automatic feeder loads bars for cutting, with finished parts automatically unloaded, thus providing for continuous, high-productivity operations.
