Dalsin Industries Opens New, Automated Metal Fabrication Plant

Precision metal fabricator Dalsin Industries, Bloomington, MN, has opened a second facility, in nearby Lakeville, MN. The new 42,000-sq.-ft. plant features Salvagnini automated punching and bending equipment, “an example of our continuing investment in improved processes and automation that are critical to maintaining our double-digit annual growth rate,” says company CEO Tom Schmeling. “The integrated production capabilities and additional capacity present a unique way for Dalsin to provide better service to existing customers and provide a unique offering to new customers in this competitive marketplace.”
