Wilson Tool Acquires German Tool Manufacturer
September 18, 2024Comments
Wilson Tool International, White Bear Lake, MN, a manufacturer of tooling for punch presses and press brakes, and punch and die components for the stamping industry, has acquired PASS Stanztechnik AG, Creuβen, Germany, a manufacturer of precision punch press tooling.
Established in 1982, PASS provides tooling compatible with Trumpf, Salvagnini, and thick turret systems. This strategic acquisition strengthens Wilson Tool’s product portfolio, and its service and manufacturing capabilities. Wilson Tool does not plan any immediate operational changes for either company.
Says Wilson Tool CEO Paul Johnson, “This acquisition underscores our ongoing commitment to the punching industry and ushers in a new era of growth and innovation for both companies. As family-owned businesses, Wilson Tool and PASS AG share foundational values centered on customer service, quality, innovation, and the well-being of our employees.”
