Alro Steel, a distributor of metals, industrial supplies and engineering plastics, has added a 24-in. tube laser to its facility in Potterville, MI.  The new machine, reportedly one of the world’s largest, can cut round tube to 24-in. dia., as well as 16-in. square tube and 18-in. beams.  Maximum material length: 50 ft.

The machine, as with other tube lasers, can miter cut, tap and notch; reduce the need for sawing, fixturing, milling, drilling, punching, bending and welding; and reduce assembly time.
