Knuth Machine Tool shows its new Ace laser cutting system with a gantry-style construction with servo drives on each side of the gantry. The machine’s light weight provides faster response time and excellent dynamics without compromising rigidity. It comes equipped with a Precitec laser cutting head, IPG fiber laser source, CNC control software with nesting function and automatic pallet changing system for fast (8-15 sec.) loading/unloading. The versatile machines are ideal for a variety of applications. The small footprint, flexibility and easy-to-use control makes the machine a good fit for job shops looking to get their first laser or upgrade from plasma technology, while the pallet changer, IPG fiber laser source and Precitec cutting head are ideal for high-production applications. Available in two standard sizes: 10 by 5 ft. and 13 by 6.5 ft. Complete systems to 20-ft. lengths also are available.
