Yarde Metals Expands in Ohio, Pennsylvania
March 1, 2011Comments Metal-service center Yarde Metals, headquartered in Southington, CT, expanded its processing center in Streetsboro, OH, by adding a pair of plate saws to its equipment lineup—an Amada 1000 and a Kasto model. The facility stocks and processes aluminum rounds to 40-in. dia, and plate to 30 in. Also, the firm celebrated the grand opening of a new 46,000-sq.-ft. service center in Limerick, PA, to process bar, sheet and plate. The facility will maintain a 1.5-million-lb. inventory.
