Solar Atmospheres of California Gains Lockheed Martin, Honeywell Approval

Solar Atmospheres of California has been awarded approval to process parts for Lockheed Martin (LMCO) for its flight-critical aerospace parts and assemblies. The Sikorsky approval adds to existing LMCO process specifications held for vacuum heat treatment of titanium, nickel alloys and stainless steel per AMS 2801, AMS 2774, AMS 2759/3 and other specs.

In addition, Solar Atmospheres of California also has been approved by Honeywell to heat treat austenitic and martensitic steels, PH and tool steels, and nickel, cobalt, titanium and magnetic alloys.
