Can-Eng Furnaces Announces Plant-Expansion Plans

Can-Eng Furnaces International, Ltd., Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, announced plans to invest in its plant #2 operations in St. Catharines, Ontario, to add 45,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space and 18,000 sq. ft. of future office space. The project will double the facility’s current available floor space and integrate enhanced overhead lifting capabilities to accommodate larger thermal processing systems being demanded by electric-vehicle component and battery material processors. Upgrades include the addition of two 30-ton and two 20-ton overhead cranes. Construction is expected to be complete by May 2025
