Ajax Metal Forming Expanding to Arizona

Ajax Metal Forming Solutions, Minneapolis, MN, announced plans to open a facility in Tucson, AZ, having recently acquired 30,162 sq. ft. of space in the area. The firm expects to add 20 jobs during the next 5 yr., primarily in operations and manufacturing, with an economic impact of $22 million. The solar-powered facility is scheduled to become operational in Q3 2024.
“Tucson checked all of the boxes for us,” says Ajax president Kent Djubek. “That includes proximity to our customers, access to raw materials, good transportation infrastructure and a superior technical workforce. We’re especially looking forward to welcoming colleagues on board from the University of Arizona and Pima Community College.”
