General Stamping & Metalworks Appoints Paul Jurgilanis Director of Operations

General Stamping & Metalworks (GSM), South Bend, IN, has appointed Paul Jurgilanis director of operations. He joins GSM with extensive experience in supply chain and operations, having held positions including director of operations and continuous improvement, vice president of supply chain, and most recently as general manager.

Jurgilanis obtained his BA from the University of Wisconsin and is Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certified. As director of operations, he is responsible for implementing manufacturing strategies and objectives that will increase throughput and overall plant performance, and maximize return on investment.

Established in 1922, General Stamping & Metalworks manufacturers fabricated metal parts for OEMs across several industries, including outdoor power equipment, industrial equipment, agricultural equipment, recreational vehicles and solar energy.
